Dr Bevin Bhoyrul is a consultant dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon practising at Sinclair
Dermatology, the Dermatology Institute of Victoria and the Skin Health Institute in Melbourne,
Australia.
Dr Bhoyrul was born in Mauritius. Upon completion of his secondary education, he was awarded a
prestigious state scholarship for being among the highest ranked students in the country. He
graduated from the University of Newcastle Medical School, UK, and initially trained in general
practice which gave him a broad outlook on medicine. He subsequently completed a comprehensive
specialist training programme in dermatology in Wales and Yorkshire, which included medical
dermatology, connective tissue disease, skin cancers, cutaneous allergy, photodermatology,
paediatric dermatology and lasers.
Following completion of his dermatology training, Dr Bhoyrul undertook a 2-year hair fellowship
under the supervision of Prof Rodney Sinclair in Melbourne, Australia. In that time, he consolidated
his knowledge and skills in the management of hair and scalp disorders.
Dr Bhoyrul is experienced in hair restoration, having completed a 12-month fellowship under the supervision of world-renowned hair transplant surgeon Dr Christian Bisanga (Belgium).
Dr Bhoyrul is fluent in English, French and Mauritian Creole.
